私たちは、日本の素晴らしい伝統工芸品や美意識を素材やデザインに取り入れ、
世界の様々な素材と融合させることで、時代を超えて愛される、古典とモダンが響き合うヘアアクセサリーをお届けします。

The name “Orinuva” is derived from a combination of “Originate” (origin), “Nua” (new), and “Va” (path).

However, in today’s world, many artisans face a decline in successors to carry on their craftsmanship.
At Orinuva, we strive to help sustain and pass down these incredible traditional techniques and artistic values to future generations.
By merging the universal beauty of Japanese craftsmanship with materials and cultures from around the world, we create accessories that take on a new expression, imbued with depth and uniqueness.

それは、文様や色彩の中に姿を変えながら息づいてきたもの。
しかし、その美しさは、忙しい日々の中で、あるいは都市化が進む環境の中で、見過ごされがちになっています。
Orinuvaは、そうした日常の中に ‟美しさ”や‟豊かさ”を再発見するきっかけを届けたいと願っています。

The aesthetic appreciation of Japan’s four seasons, its natural landscapes, and scenery has been passed down through generations, subtly embedded in patterns, colors, and artistic expressions.

Designer, Founder
Yumiko Yano / 矢野 由美子
2004年よりブライダル小物のデザイン・制作・コーディネートに携わる。
2013年、オーダーヘッドドレスブランド 「yumiko yano」 を立ち上げ、
結婚式や成人式を迎える方々へ、誕生日や思い出の場所、大切な想いを込めた一点もののヘッドドレスを制作。
これまで1000名以上の特別な日の装いに携わる。
素材を求める中で、伝統工芸士や職人との出逢いに恵まれ、
工芸品や日本ならではの意匠を、より身近なものとして届けたいという想いからOrinuvaをスタート。
大学生の頃から異文化に惹かれ、30カ国以上を旅し、
工芸品や建築・アートに触れながら、その地ならではの美意識や技術に魅了されてきた。
旅を重ねる中で、日本の繊細な工芸や美意識の奥深さを再認識すると同時に、
世界各地の装飾美や独特の色彩、文化が織りなす表現の多様性にも強く心を動かされる。
ヘッドドレス制作を始めてからは、その経験を活かし、国内外で素材を探し求め、独自の感性を映し出すデザインへと昇華させている。
自身も着物に親しみ、古民家で暮らすライフスタイルを通じて、受け継がれる美を日常の中で感じることの大切さを実感。
日本の伝統と世界の文化が響き合うデザインへと繋げている。
Yumiko Yano
Since 2004, Yumiko Yano has been engaged in the design, production, and coordination of
bridal accessories.
In 2013, she launched her bespoke headpiece brand, “yumiko yano”, creating one-of-a-kind
headpieces for weddings and coming-of-age ceremonies,
infused with personal stories, cherished memories, and heartfelt sentiments.
She has contributed to the styling of over 1,000 clients on their special days.
Through her search for materials, she encountered skilled artisans and traditional craftsmen,
which deepened her desire to make Japanese craftsmanship and aesthetic traditions more
accessible.
This passion led to the founding of Orinuva.
From her university years, she developed a deep fascination with diverse cultures, traveling to
over 30 countries.
She explored local craftsmanship, architecture, and art, immersing herself in the unique
aesthetics and techniques of each region.
Her travels not only renewed her appreciation for the refined artistry and depth of Japanese
craftsmanship,
but also deeply moved her with the diverse expressions, rich ornamentation, and distinct color
palettes of cultures across the world.
Since beginning her headpiece creations, she has woven these experiences into her work,
seeking materials both in Japan and abroad to craft designs that embody her distinctive
sensibilities.
Through a lifestyle that embraces kimono and traditional Japanese homes,
she finds inspiration in the beauty passed down through generations and its presence in
everyday life.
She continues to create designs where Japanese tradition and global culture harmonize.
