工芸品は、完成した姿だけが美しいのではありません。
一つの工芸品が生まれるまでには、
素材と向き合い、試行錯誤を重ね、技術を磨き続けてきた人たちの、長い時間があります。
工房を訪ね、職人さんの手仕事を間近で見せていただくたび、
一つひとつの工程に宿る丁寧さや、人の温度に心を動かされてきました。
Orinuvaが大切にしているのは、
完成した工芸品だけではなく、その背景に流れる時間や、人の温度、美意識です。
だからこそ、有松絞りや伊賀組紐、織物、金工など、
日本各地の職人さんによって受け継がれてきた手仕事を、現代の装いに寄り添う髪飾りへと紡いでいます。
私たちの髪飾りが、その美しさを知るきっかけとなり、
「いつか工房を訪ねてみたい。」
「その工芸品や、生まれた土地を知りたい。」

花や枝葉を髪に添え、自然への祈りや季節を身にまとった古来の「挿頭（かざし）」の文化。

Yumiko Yano / 矢野 由美子
2004年よりブライダル小物のデザイン・制作・コーディネートに携わる。
2013年、オーダーヘッドドレスブランド 「yumiko yano」 を立ち上げ、
結婚式や成人式を迎える方々へ、誕生日や思い出の場所、大切な想いを込めた一点もののヘッドドレスを制作。
これまで1000名以上の特別な日の装いに携わる。
素材を求める中で、伝統工芸士や職人との出逢いに恵まれ、
日本の文化や手仕事に宿る美しさを、現代の装いに寄り添う髪飾りとして届けたいという想いからOrinuvaをスタート。
大学生の頃から異文化に惹かれ、30カ国以上を旅し、
工芸品や建築・アートに触れながら、その地ならではの美意識や技術に魅了されてきた。
旅を重ねる中で、日本の繊細な工芸や美意識の奥深さを再認識すると同時に、
世界各地の装飾美や独特の色彩、文化が織りなす表現の多様性にも強く心を動かされる。
ヘッドドレス制作を始めてからは、その経験を活かし、国内外で素材を探し求め、独自の感性を映し出すデザインへと昇華させている。
自身も着物に親しみ、古民家で暮らすライフスタイルを通じて、受け継がれる美を日常の中で感じることの大切さを実感。
日本の伝統と世界で出会った美意識が響き合う、Orinuvaのものづくりへとつながっています。
Yumiko Yano
Since 2004, Yumiko Yano has been engaged in the design, production, and coordination of
bridal accessories.
In 2013, she launched her bespoke headpiece brand, “yumiko yano”, creating one-of-a-kind
headpieces for weddings and coming-of-age ceremonies,
infused with personal stories, cherished memories, and heartfelt sentiments.
She has contributed to the styling of over 1,000 clients on their special days.
Through her search for materials, she encountered skilled artisans and traditional craftsmen,
which deepened her desire to make Japanese craftsmanship and aesthetic traditions more
accessible.
This journey ultimately led to the creation of Orinuva.
From her university years, she developed a deep fascination with diverse cultures, traveling to
over 30 countries.
She explored local craftsmanship, architecture, and art, immersing herself in the unique
aesthetics and techniques of each region.
Her travels not only renewed her appreciation for the refined artistry and depth of Japanese
craftsmanship,
but also deeply moved her with the diverse expressions, rich ornamentation, and distinct color
palettes of cultures across the world.
Since beginning her headpiece creations, she has woven these experiences into her work,
seeking materials both in Japan and abroad to craft designs that embody her distinctive
sensibilities.
Living with kimono and in a traditional Japanese home,
she continues to discover the quiet beauty that has been passed down through generations and lives on in
everyday life.
Her work brings together Japanese tradition and the beauty she has encountered around the world, weaving them into Orinuva's designs.
